September is a changeable month weatherwise and you have to take pot luck on what the day will deliver. However, yesterday was exceptional, the grey clouds dispersed and the sun shon for two hours in the middle of the day. Photographically, this gave me perfect light and I’m sure Raphella and Artan were pleased too, for different reasons!

The combination of the beautiful dappled light and the perfect setting of All Saints Church, Branksome Park created an ideal combination.

A small, intimate, laughter filled wedding ceremony followed by a short photo session on the beach at Branksome Dene Chine captured the day for them precisely.

Not at all bad for  Tuesday in September, what a lovely start to the week.

The Captains Club Christchurch Dorset, a perfect venue for a stylish wedding.

Last night I attended the Wedding Open Evening and it was busy and bustling with lots of champagne.

2011 looks like a busy year all round!

Lesley and Steve, after their ceremony at the Connaght Hotel Bournemouth, headed down to the beach for a few pictures at Durley Chine by the rowing boats which are a perfect, colourful backdrop.

The happy couple met whilst working for the National Express Buses, which eventually brought them to settle in Bournemouth and tie the knot!

Such a lovely couple and a great group of friends and relatives, a really enjoyable, laughter filled day.

Laura and Dave took advantage of a beautiful late summer September evening which was backlit by the setting sun across the Purbeck Hills. After a few rainy days we couldn’t have asked for a better gap in the weather!

Laura didn’t need any persuading to put her beautiful designer dress by Suzanne Neville on again. She booked a post wedding shoot to take place in the garden of her parent’s house overlooking Poole Harbour.

Once the formal shots were out of the way she kicked off her shoes and barefoot, ran around the garden swishing the dress, all the things that there are no time for on the wedding day.

A great couple in a fabulous location, breathtaking views and a stunning frock! What a combination!

Nat and Sean, nervous and full of anticipation approached their day with style and joy.

A truly lovely occasion and so emotional and romantic.

To top it all off the sun shone for England and everything just fell into place seamlessly, nothing was a problem at all.

A beautiful September evening created a colouful Dorset seascape backdrop for Julia and Mark’s photographs in Studland Bay in the Purbecks.

Julia and Mark got married last year at Lulworth Castle and wanted to mark their 1st anniversary in a momentous way and take some time out to dress up and redo a few of their photographs.

The post wedding shoot gives the couple an opportunity to dress up again in their wedding outfits and have photographs taken without the pressure of waiting guests or the time constraints and distractions of the Big Day. Instead there is only the light to wait for as it constantly improves as the sun sets! Not stressful at all!

Derek literally swept Carole off her feet on Friday and the entire wedding at the Poole Guildhall Registry Office had everyone jumping for joy!

This shot was taken on the cobbled Church Street leading down to Poole Quay on a sunny afternoon just before they headed off to their reception.
