Kathryn’s studio pre wedding shoot and only 10 days before her wedding at the Captains Club Hotel next Sunday. I encourage at least the bride-to-be to have a pre wedding chat and some sample pictures as quite usually this is the first time people have professional portrait pictures made. Its also a time to discuss posture, poses, dress detail, formal pictures and the worrying question of what happens when it rains on the big day? The session also should be fun and confidence building and one thing less to think about at the actual event.

Ruby, a beautiful little girl who I have photographed at only a few days old, now taking her first steps with mum and auntie Abi. Dad and uncle took time off from their busy scedule to attend the family shoot too!

Simon and Katie’s first dance at the Captains Club Hotel and with accompaniment from the Singing Waiters which were extremely versatile! The other pictures can be viewed :

Ahead of their forthcoming marriage in September, Claire and Mark made time for their pre wedding shoot at Badbury Rings one ideal summer evening.

I was walking back from the Hasselblad Studio, in London to visit Seamus Ryan, the famous portrait photographer who I worked with during last summer in the East End and spotted this graffiti image / “Urban Art” on his studio doors.

What a beautiful day, we couldn’t ask for better light. More images to come.
