Armed with a brolly, just in case the heavens opened on this blustery Wednesday afternoon, a relaxed Janine and David had a walk about from the Greenhouse Hotel to a few of Bournemouth’s hidden gem locations. As a photographer, I am constantly squirrelling away potential quiet spots with unspoilt backdrops which could be used for a rainy day. I am looking forward to your special day in June!
Pre-wedding pictures for Sheila and Tristan at the East Close Hotel near Holmsley. On these shoots we get together and spend some time having some very relaxed sample pictures as well as having a number of locations earmarked for the wedding. This is a good bonding session between the photographer and his excited clients as well as getting use to being in front of the camera which makes the wedding day much more comfortable and one less thing to get anxious about.

Kathryn’s studio pre wedding shoot and only 10 days before her wedding at the Captains Club Hotel next Sunday. I encourage at least the bride-to-be to have a pre wedding chat and some sample pictures as quite usually this is the first time people have professional portrait pictures made. Its also a time to discuss posture, poses, dress detail, formal pictures and the worrying question of what happens when it rains on the big day? The session also should be fun and confidence building and one thing less to think about at the actual event.

After a sunny pre wedding shoot in the Purbeck Hills, my assistant and myself arrived early at the Square and Compass Inn for an impromptu photo shoot. The staff kindly let me in for some interior pumpkin images before the pub started to fill with walkers!

The Wedding Tree Guest Book in the process of being drawn.
I have been asked by a number of couples for this product as an alternative to a traditional signage board and we are now we are taking commissions for these bespoke pictures.
The image is hand drawn on French fine art rag watermarked paper, each picture is completely unique and inscribed with the names of the bride and groom. The guests at the wedding make an inked thumb print and sign their names in the ‘leaf’ as a lasting memento of the day. The piece can then be framed and kept as a permanent keepsake. These are totally bespoke pieces and come with a permanent fade-proof markers and 2 ink pads for your guests thumb prints.
The Wedding Tree Guest Book measures 60 x 40cm and is available to order from £120.
