Kings Arms Wedding – C&M

Kings Arms Wedding in Dorset with Matt and Christie. Christie got ready with her bridal party at the Kings Arms Hotel in Christchurch and their wedding ceremony was held at the decorated pavilion overlooked by the historic castle ruins. There was plenty of opportunity for the casual style documentary photography which they preferred, capturing all the moments throughout the day. I used 4 cameras on the day; 2 digital Nikons, Leica film and a Polaroid for the couple to take away on the day. See if you can spot the polaroid image.

Christie, the bride, wrote to me straight away with her reaction when she saw the complete set of images delivered from their wedding day:

“Thank you so much for all of these gorgeous photos they are simply stunning!! I cannot believe how beautiful everything looks, we seem to have forgotten the day in the mist of reality already but seeing your photos really brought it all back, and in fact brought back moments that were lost due to the craziness of the day! You really do have an incredible talent! The photos are timeless. Words cannot describe how happy we are with them.

Photos for us were, other than the marriage itself, the most important thing to organise, its the only thing you take away from the day to remember it by and I am so glad we found you. Everyone is even now still commenting on how great you are, how you just fit into the day and make everyone relax – even my mum as she struggled with my dress – in fact I remember you actually clipped it up for me as the nerves started to increase in the room – so thank you!”
