Larmer Tree Wedding Photography: Rachel and Sam

Larmer Tree Wedding Photography

Larmer Tree wedding photography requests are always a pleasure to receive. A location famous for it’s gardens, Victorian stage and of course, peacocks. Those cheeky, over confident, attention grabbing beauties who strut around the gardens throughout the day under the impression that they are captivating the crowds, they are!

The beautiful wedding of Rachel and Sam is on the blog today. Taking place at the Larmer Tree Gardens on the Dorset/ Wiltshire border. Established in 1880 the Larmer Tree provides a beautiful setting for a wedding. This was some such day, a perfect day, well planned, happy relaxed. The groom Sam arrived first at the venue to await the arrival of his bride Rachel. Fuelled by the antics of his entourage and a nip of Dutch courage delivered in a small bottle the day proceeded.

Rachel arrived and walked to the wedding ceremony chaperoned by her bridesmaids and escorted by her Father through the gardens.

Getting Married at The Larmer Tree Gardens

The room was full and Rachel glided in on the arm of her father. The happy couple exchanged vows and then the wedding party tumbled out onto the lawns and into the gardens to celebrate. We organised wedding photographs outside the Roman Temple. The wide open lawns in front of the Victorian stage hosted the celebrations until it was time to return to the Jubilee Hall for the wedding breakfast, speeches and toasting.

Weddings at The Larmer Tree

Photographing weddings at the Larmer Tree gardens is never a difficult thing to do, so much choice of light and locations and so much space for everyone. It boasts five very different buildings; the Pavilion, Jubilee Hall and the General’s Room, or outside in the grounds the Roman Temple or the Lower Indian Room. All of these locations can host the wedding ceremony. Rachel and Sam chose the newly renovated Jubilee Hall
